I attended the Bodyworks Institute In 2000 and became a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist in 2001.
I offer one-on-one consultations/discussions in my private practice with each of my clients to design their sessions to meet their individual needs by using massage therapy to relieve pain, or just provide a nice quiet relaxing massage, including: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Lymph Drainage, and Pregnancy Massage. I continually broaden my skills by taking classes and I hope to soon offer Reflexology. I also work at Calvert Memorial Hospital with the KeepWell Department providing massage to the hospital employees and community, and for the Obstetrical Department, providing massage to mom’s who have just given birth.
I grew up in Prince George’s County, MD and moved to Calvert County in 1994. Even though I grew up with a passion for massage, I worked full time in Washington DC for 22 years. I decided I finally needed to follow my heart and pursue my passion in massage therapy due to my desire to assist people in relaxing and feeling better through natural means. I love Calvert County, its people and I hope to be afforded the opportunity to meet and serve you!
I am married, and have two children, two step-children and three grandsons! My husband and I love to cook and entertain, creating a nice relaxing and fun environment for our kids, grandchild(ren) and friends.
